Hello, Ho, Ho, everyone!
Welcome to the 2023 Christmas edition of The Primary Planet. We’re delighted you could join us, and we really hope you enjoy our festive offering.
One of our favourite things here in the editorial offices of TPP is receiving pupils’ submissions. So, as you can imagine, it is a proper treat for us when it comes to the month of November and we begin to receive sackfuls of stories and poems.
The most difficult part of all of this is having to choose which stories and poems make it into our Christmas Crackers Special.
It’s so hard having to decide who makes it and who doesn’t, but take it from me – we love reading EVERY ONE of your entries. We know how much time you put into it, and for that we say a big THANK YOU!
So, before I take up any more of your time, head on over to the Christmas Crackers Special on pages 15 to 18 and check out what we think are amazing Christmas stories and poems from YOU, our esteemed readers!
When you need a break, check out the back page. Perhaps you can convince your teacher to play some seasonal songs while you sit back and partake in mindful Christmas colouring! If you have time, your finished masterpiece and send it at schools@theprimaryplanet.ie. We’ll send a yummy Cadbury’s selection box to each of the top three entrants!
Happy Christmas, everyone, and we’ll see you in 2024!
Stephen
