Welcome to Issue 135, TPPers!
As you may have guessed from the front cover, we’re going on tour this month – hitting six amazing cities scattered right across the globe! Why? Because World Cities Day falls on October 31. Maybe some of you have been to one, two or even all (!) of these cities already? Or maybe you have some of these urban locations pencilled in on your travel wish list? For me, visiting Tokyo would be a dream come true!
You will also notice there is no AG MAG in this month’s issue. But for those of you who enjoyed it last month, you’ll be happy to know we will have an AG MAG Science Week special planned for November’s edition. On that note, we’d love to hear your thoughts on AG MAG. Check out Planet Farming on page 14 where we’ve included a QR code to take you to a short survey we’ve compiled. We’d love to get your feedback on Issue #1 so we can make Issue #2 even better.
In this month’s Planet Archives, we’ve once again travelled 10 years into the past, when Apple launched their latest iPhone and revealed a new product called the Apple Watch! Check out the number of watches sold since … mind-blowing!
We’re sending a big TPP shout-out to this month’s winning writer in the TPP Reading Club too. 6th Class pupil Laura Swierszcz from Castletown NS in Co. Donegal penned an amazing poem based on the writing challenge set out by last month’s author of the month, Sarah Webb. Well worth a read.
Right, you go read and we’ll go work! Oh, and Happy Hallowe’en!
See you back here after the midterm break for a TPP Science Week Special.
