Ho, ho, ho, TPPers!
Welcome to my favourite issue of the year – the Christmas Special!
Before we jump in with tinsel toes, how did you enjoy the Ig Nobels from last month’s issue? We had great fun during our research, so hopefully you had as much fun reading the fruits of our labour. Is it wrong that I’m already looking forward to next year’s awards?
This month, we are delighted to present ‘A TPP Christmas Tale’ – especially because one of our very own TPPers penned it! I don’t think there is anything more enjoyable for an editor than when I can publish your work for all to read. What a proud moment for Kathryn, her school and her family!
You will probably notice that we don’t often get to allot two pages to colouring in The Primary Planet, but this month we made an exception. Not only do you get to chill out and colour a festive Christmas poster, you also have the chance of winning a family pass to Joe the Magician Live, a magic show taking place in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre next May. See page 17 for more details.
We have all your old favourites in here too, so don’t worry if colouring is not your thing – there’s lots in here that hopefully is!
As always, don’t forget to get in touch with us, whether that’s through email (schools@theprimaryplanet.ie) or online – we love hearing from our TPPers, and welcome book reviews, news and creative writing!
Okay! Off you go and enjoy your TPP. We’ll see you – I love saying this – next year!
Stephen
