This year the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) celebrates its 60th birthday. It has much to celebrate after 60 years spent working to protect nature, but its message to us is: More still needs to be done – and at a faster pace. We must speed up our efforts to reverse the damage we have done to the planet.
In 1997, they began to publish their Living Planet Report. This is like a health-check for the planet. Sadly, its latest report tells us that wildlife populations have declined by 68% since 1970! Check it out by clicking on the image below.
