Craig Breen and co-driver Paul Nagle made a fantastic start to the new World Rally Championship season with a third-place finish in Monte Carlo.
It is Breen’s first full championship campaign and the Waterford native claimed a podium finish after a string of fine performances across a weekend in Monaco.
The M-Sport Ford team finished 1:39.8 behind France Sebastien Loeb, who at 47 became the oldest driver to win a round of the world championship.
‘To finish on the podium is a great start to the championship,’ said Breen.
Next up for Breen and Nagle is the Sweden Rally on February 24.
